APS-Japan (The Association of Pharmaceutical Students’-Japan) is an official association of pharmacy students across Japan. We represent about 1000 full members.

Predecessor organization of APS-Japan was founded in 1998, and became a Full Member Organization of IPSF (International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation) in 2007. APS-Japan was established in 2011, and became a general incorporated association in 2013.

We have 8 executives,
5 committees : Student Exchange, Public Health, Pharmacy Education, Regional Relations, and Academic committees,
and 4 branches : Kanto (Tokyo), Tokai (Nagoya), Kansai(Kyoto), and Kyushu(Fukuoka) prefecture.

Our mission is to contribute to Japan and world wide by promoting the activities which conduces to the specialization and development of pharmacy, and improve the conscious mind and ability of pharmacy students against medical care.

Student Exchange Committee of APS-Japan coordinates the Student Exchange Programme (SEP) of IPSF in Japan. SEP is an international exchange program where students can learn about pharmacy and cultures in foreign countries. If you would like to participate in the SEP in Japan, you have to contact your own association’s SEO.

APPS (Asia Pacific Pharmaceutical Symposium) is the congress for the pharmacy students from all over Asia pacific region which is held every single year. APS-Japan held 12th APPS in 2013 in Tokyo. We had more than 400 pharmacy students from Asia pacific region to do many kinds of  activities together such as Symposium, Workshops ,Campaign, Field trip, and Night events.

APS-Japan holds many activities including SEP(students exchange program), public health campaign, PPAC(pharmacy profession awareness campaign) and workshops related to pharmacy education every year. Each events are organized by 5 committees and branches of APS-Japan.
